ABOUT US

I am Simon Walden, the principal photographer and tutor for the Film Photo Academy Network.

I have always been passionate about my photography - as was my father before me - so I've been making photographs for over 40 years and I work as an active commercial photographer.

My clients include the BBC, Microsoft, Starbucks and many more. I have photographed celebrities from all walks including Michael Parkinson, Sharon Davies, Jamie Cullum, Maisie Williams, Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen.

I have won many awards including Fuji Digital Photographer of the Year 2005. My artworks have been exhibited around the world from Australia to America.

I have authored over 15 books on photography and have been an Amazon bestseller. My books range from inspirational ideas and themes to detailed "How to..." guides.

I have written and presented 8 full length TV courses which are now available online.

I regularly teach for the Royal Photographic Society and people travel from all over the world for my workshops.
